Spurious - not genuine, authentic, or true; not from the claimed, pretended, or proper source; counterfeit.Former Vice President, Dick Cheney, was as spurious, as were his comments, about the economic crisis, the Bush and the Obama administrations. This is nothing new though because he was just as spurious about the war in Iraq.
